Interfaith Boycott Coalition

About

Mission Statement

We are a coalition of faith networks and organizations that represent Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and other traditions. We are all committed to ending the Israeli occupation of Palestine and violations of international law. Toward this end, we join the growing international call, coming from within the faith community and outside of it, for the boycott of companies profiting from Israel’s occupation of Palestine and violations of international law. By advocating for boycott, it is our intent to deepen and broaden public understanding of how this occupation destroys lives through the violation of Palestinian human rights and how it threatens the peace and security of the entire region.  Our response is cognizant of, but not limited to, the Kairos Palestine movement of Palestinian Christians’ call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) to be used by civil society as a tool to pressure Israel to comply with international law and end its occupation. We seek ongoing cooperation between many faith traditions based on a commitment to justice for those who face daily oppression living under Israeli occupation. We oppose all forms of bigotry, including that against Muslims, Jews, Arabs or any ethnic, racial, or religious group.
